FEODISGet my free score

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Will checking my score hurt it?

No. Feodis uses a soft inquiry to pull your report, the same kind lenders use for pre-qualification. Soft inquiries are invisible to other lenders and never affect your score.

Why do you need my Social Security Number?

Bureaus require it to locate your file — there's no way to pull a real credit report without it. We send it directly to our identity verification partner over an encrypted connection and never store the full number ourselves; only the last 4 digits are kept, for your reference.

What happens after I sign up?

You verify your identity, we pull your report from the bureaus, and your dashboard shows your score plus specific insights — utilization, thin file, collections, late payments — based on what's actually in your file.

Is this free account ever going to ask for payment?

The tracker itself never will. If we identify something a paid product like CreditBoost could fix, we'll show you that option clearly, but your free account and your score access don't expire or require a card.

How is this different from Credit Karma or Experian's free app?

Most free trackers stop at showing you the number. Feodis names the specific cause — which tradeline, which threshold, which account — and tells you what action addresses it, instead of a generic “improve your utilization” tip.

What is CreditBoost?

CreditBoost is a $10/month reporting tradeline that builds your credit file every month it's open, reporting to all three bureaus. Apply from your dashboard once you've verified your identity and pulled your free report.
